![]() ![]() I have a Athlon XP 1700 with a Geforce2 GTS and a 19" Viewsonic flat crt (75Hz refresh rate). Just quitting the game doesn't help, I have to go away for a few hours in order to regain my composure, and watching TV makes it worse. In both of these games, I can only play for only 15 or 20 minutes at a time or I get motion sickness. Now, in the past month I've gotten my grubby little hands on two Quake3 engine-based shooters, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and as of last night, Medal of Honor. All this time I've been fine, through the Doom games, the entire Quake series, UT, Deus Ex, Half Life, Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, et cetera et cetera. I've been playing fps' for years, ever since Wolfenstein 3D first came out. I even found research in army documents on 'simulator sickness'. I've read other threads and even searched on google for topics on motion sickness in video games. ![]()
